Welcome to the Enchanted Gateway of Laura's Explorers

Where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary and the wonders of childhood unfold like a storybook adventure!
In this magical haven, we believe that nature holds the key to unlocking the enchantment within every child. The mere act of stepping outdoors ignites a symphony of imagination, awakening their senses to the captivating world that awaits.
But, hold on – this is no ordinary group. It's not your typical parent and toddler gathering, and it's certainly not another Forest School. We are the missing link, the bridge to boundless exploration and family connection, nestled right in the heart of nature's embrace.

Picture a place where children are free to embrace their inner mud maestro, revel in the joy of unbridled play, and simply be kids! 🌱💫 This is the space where walls disappear, replaced by the vast canvas of the outdoors. It's a sanctuary where families come together to bask in the myriad benefits of nature, shedding stress and embracing the simple joys of life under the natural canopy.
What sets us apart? We delight in bending the rules just a little, encouraging managed risks that lead to extraordinary discoveries. As you step into Laura's Explorers, you're not just entering a group; you're stepping into a cherished memory from your own childhood – a hidden gem waiting to be uncovered.

So, what are you waiting for? Let the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves guide you as you embark on a journey to discover the magic that lies within nature and within each of us. Join us as we invite you to explore further into the realm of joy, connection, and the enchantment of childhood rediscovered.

Outside & Happy

Their lives should be full of wonder, discovery and adventure. Sadly the amount of time children spend outside has been rapidly decreasing over the years - a recent study identified that a high percentage of UK children spend less time outside than a prisoner who gets just two hours a day! They say you relive your childhood through your children and with two young boys I wanted to give them the same nature led start in life that I had as a child. Our children are the ones who need to have nature loving roots to help protect the wonderful world we live in, they simply cannot do this if they are not exposed to its beauty and wonder and what better age than a stage then when their minds are like sponges.

It's important that we all take time out of our busy lives, it's how we appreciate the small things in life and personally now more than ever this is even more accurate. The great outdoors has so many benefits both mentally and physically, for them, and for us as adults. Watching our children overcome obstacles, develop skills and play will remind us what it's like to be a child again... in the woods we aim to bring out the child in all of us and we encourage adults to get stuck in. Children are able to achieve so much when given the opportunity to do so; it's time to give them a little more freedom, let them take managed risks, achieve things they never thought possible and overcome fears, by simply changing the environment they play in will change the way they play.

"We all had such a wonderful time in the woods with you. I still remember our sessions in 2021 and the ones in the depths of winter when I was 38 weeks pregnant. It is as much as a sanctuary for me as it is for them. Please visit Laura in the woods, you wont regret it!"
