Our woodland birthday parties offer exclusive use of a private woodland, lovingly decorated for your special day. The birthday child and their friends will enjoy themed crafts, games, and activities alongside free play in nature; splashing in the stream, creating in the mud kitchen, forming a woodland band, and exploring all that the woods have to offer.

Party Times:

Parties are available on weekdays (term time only) and weekends, subject to availability

Morning parties start at 10am

Afternoon parties start at 1:30pm

Attendee Details:

Maximum of 12 children

Parents are expected to stay for the duration of the party

Supervision ratios:

• Under 5s: 1 adult per child
• Over 5s: 1 adult per 5 children

Maximum of 14 adults

Adults remain responsible for their children at all times, including toilet visits, hand washing, supervision, and supporting crafts and activities

Food & Drink:

• Hot water, tea, coffee, cow’s milk, and drinking water is provided
• Campfire s’mores are included in Explorer Adventure and Ultimate Explorer Parties
• Hot chocolate and biscuits included in Ultimate Explorer Parties
• A handwashing station is provided whenever the campfire is lit

You are welcome to bring:

• Your own food, drinks, cake, and party bags

Please note:

• This is a leave no trace site — all rubbish must be taken home
• Please advise us of any allergies at time of booking
• We cannot accept responsibility for your food brought to site

What to wear:

All visitors will require wellies to explore the stream and beyond - yes that means adults too! Please dress for the season and outdoor play. Party dresses and fancy dresses are not permitted around the fire due to fire safety.

It is advisable to bring a spare pair of clothes.

On the day:

• We will meet you in the car park and assist with parking
• Once all guests have arrived, a short safety briefing will be given
• Children are then free to explore the woods and enjoy the activities laid out
• We are present throughout to support play and offer games
• The final part of the party includes food, cake, and (where applicable) the campfire
• Guests are asked to make their own way back at the end to allow us to remain onsite for tidying

You are welcome to arrive 30 minutes early to set up, and we will return to the car park 15 minutes before the start time to help with guest arrivals.

Other information:

Please do not bring balloons or plastic decorations — the woodland will be decorated for you

We do not supply party bags

Your host is first aid trained, holds a food hygiene certificate, enhanced DBS, and public liability insurance

Parties run in all but the most extreme weather; a woodland shelter is available on wet days

A £75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking
